PRAY FOR/UPDATE 4-3-20: Sophie, 14 yo., Chemodectoma (heart tumor). Lord Jesus we are so grateful to You for shrinking Sophie’s tumor through the radiation treatments. Thank You that they were gentle to her skin, and seemed to renew her body. At 14 yo, she has been feisty with an appetite, and loving her life again. We are so, so thrilled that You have given her some extra quality time to spend with the family who adore her. This family is blessed with 3 senior doxies,(sibling Lulu, lt) all in various stages of disease. We ask that You would pour Your mercy and grace out on mom Heather and dad Tom as they enjoy the golden years of these precious pets. In the Name of Adonai Machsech. God our Refuge/Shelter. Amen. <3 Caren

Pawsome about Sophie’s tumor! 🙌😁
Heather Rammer
Some good news, hopefully we will get more next week. Sophie last radiation next week
Prayers for Pets
Ok, that’s good. I’ve been hearing that some veterinarians are only doing drive-bys. I’m glad to hear that she will most likely be treated. But do your best to social distance etcetera😅
Heather Rammer
They don’t let us in the take her from us and when we pick up the bring her to me. They already did dc instruction by phone (Cont. below)

Psalm 91: 1-4
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

I was thinking about you and praying for you yesterday but I never had time to message you. How are things going on the virus front?
Heather Rammer is an ICU nurse in Ohio, US
The [patients] are rolling in

Prayers for Pets
Are your PPEs holding up? I heard about that company from Ohio that has a sanitizer for the n95 masks. Pawsome news I would think but are you nervous about that idea?

Heather Rammer
6 to8 depending on her blood count. And only doing the 2 types because we put her back on prednisone
We are low on n95 we are reusing until soiled then they sterilize them for us

Prayers for Pets
Oh so they’re already doing that there I thought it was in trial- maybe just federally?

Heather Rammer
She is
Prayers for Pets
That’s our girl! Let’s do an update post some time this week. Send me some feisty pix of that baby when you can. Are you in a city in Ohio? I haven’t kept track of where cases are there. Mike dewine has been doing some interesting stuff though. Is he a good governor do you think?

TUE 4:52 PM
Heather Rammer
Yes. Mixed in governor

I’m in […] California and we are at almost the exact same number of cases (125). We are actually surprised that the governor seems to be doing a good job on this we were ready to oust him a month ago 😁
Heather Rammer
Ours seem to be picking up

The governor or the cases? Our cases are definitely on the uptick, especially in LA which is very close to where we are.

Heather Rammer
THe cases had first death in our county. Went from 30 To 100 in 24 hrs
Prayers for Pets
It’s crazy the exponential growth of this thing. We are not seeing exponential growth here yet. Today it’s at 125 cases with 4 deaths. It was 54 cases last week so it’s not growing that fast, thankfully. LA had 548 new cases today and 10 new deaths bringing their totals up to over 3,000 cases and 54 deaths. I don’t know where they’re hiding the homeless people but they seem to be less in sight than they were a few weeks ago.

I haven’t been to LA in about a month or so. We don’t have cable so I don’t watch local news. The news is coming out of like a fire hose these days kind of hard to keep track! I try to watch the Task Force updates they’re pretty good.

Heather Rammer
The health department in Columbus is saying by mid April will see 10000 new cases a day unless we can slow it down. My sister is in Columbus and they have temporary hospital set up

Holy cow… what’s going on are people breaking the rules? I’m amazed at what [the] mitigation has done for our area

Heather Rammer
People are doing social distancing but it’s our time to get to our peak
Prayers for Pets
Ok. Geesh, this thing is a maniac. I hear some people say that the mitigation attempts are overblown compared to the actuality on the ground. I’d love to know your perspective as a nurse on the front lines. Do you think the 15 day protocol is reasonable and effective?

Tues. March 31, 2020 [Totals] Just went up [to 183 cases, 6 deaths]

Awwwww, the paw. I love it! I’m so bummed that I was not able to post for her this morning. The website has not done this to me in a while it used to do it all the time. Victor went out to forage for supplies (I am housebound), hopefully he will have some time to tackle the website this afternoon and get it up and running.

The website works for anyone looking at it I just cannot access the dashboard properly therefore I can’t do a thing to edit.

Victor finally talked to our host service. They did a scan and found the site to be completely corrupted. The guy said it was shot full of holes like Swiss cheese… Victor backed it up and will try to fix it. I’ll be posting the link from our sister site GreenDogLoving.com I hope to schedule it for tomorrow a.m. if all works out… A new frontier…Sad… I’m praying to get my site back, we’ve put our hearts and souls into it. ❤ Caren
